Janet brings over 26 years of legal and management expertise in the private sector. As the Head of Legal at WSP Canada, a leading design and engineering consultancy in Canada, she serves as the company’s chief legal advisor, tackling the complex challenges of building next-generation infrastructure to support a low-carbon future.

Previously, Janet was Senior Vice-President, Legal, at SNC-Lavalin, where she oversaw legal operations for major infrastructure, energy and transportation projects worldwide. She also led the company’s global dispute resolution team. Janet holds both a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Bachelor of Laws (Common Law) from McGill University.
